Moodlite is an alternative electro-soul group based in Salt Lake City, UT.   

Mixing lush, intimate vocals with atmospheric, groove-laden instrumentation and electronic elements, the band creates songs that ripple through a room like sonic silk.  

From ethereal and reflective to carefree and pulsing, Moodlite bring the mood and vibe. 

The band features Katya Rose (vocals), Tor Carlson (guitar, keyboards, electronic production), Evan Fleming (saxophone, electronic production) and Sean Eckel (bass, guitar). 

Touring throughout Utah and Colorado, Moodlite has built an enthusiastic regional following that led the band to perform at the Sundance Festival in Park City, UT and at the esteemed Lightning in a Bottle festival in California in 2019 and again on the main stage in 2022 (the band’s 2020 festival performance was canceled due to covid). Moodlite has been featured in Sofar Sounds twice, at the Arkadia Festival in Las Vegas in 2022, and will play the Mycelium Festival in California in May 2023.  

While a national tour to support Garza of Thievery Corporation in 2020 was unfortunately canceled due to the covid pandemic, it provided the band time to write new music, which will begin to be released in 2023.
